The Besaya Green Way in Cantabria offers a scenic rural path following the right bank of the Besaya River. Spanning approximately 20 kilometers, the route extends between Los Corrales de Buelna and the town of Suances.
The path is primarily paved, making it suitable for hiking and cycling. It passes through several notable locations, including the town of Cartes and the village of Riocorvo, which features an important Romanesque church. The route also provides access to the La Viesca park in Torrelavega and the Parque de las Estelas in Barros, where visitors can view ancient Cantabrian discoid stelae dating back to the 4th century BC.
