Besiktas targets Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin for January transfer

Besiktas is preparing a renewed attempt to sign Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin during the January transfer window. Following unsuccessful attempts to secure the Belgian player during the summer, the Turkish club is reportedly planning a structured permanent bid.

Rangers has reportedly placed a £12.7 million valuation on Raskin, whose contract is currently set to run until the summer of 2028. To facilitate the move, Besiktas may utilize Leandro Trossard, a former Arsenal winger and current Besiktas player, to speak with his Belgian international teammate about the club's ambitions and life in Turkey.

Besiktas head coach Vincenzo Italiano has identified Raskin as a top priority for the mid-season transfer period. The Turkish side aims to capitalize on the player's contractual timeline to test the Rangers board's resolve.
