Beskidy Poetry Festival 2026 to be held across several Polish cities

The Beskidy Poetry Festival 2026 will take place from September 17 to 19, featuring poets from Poland and abroad, literary critics, and academics. The event includes workshops, poetry galas, exhibitions, concerts, and meetings with youth.

The festival is spread across several locations, including Czechowice-Dziedzice, Chybiu, Bielsko-Biała, and Jaworzno. Activities in Czechowice-Dziedzice and Chybiu on the first day include workshops led by Dr. Bożena Boba-Dyga and a meeting with the EXODUS Zone. The second day in Bielsko-Biała features literary sessions at the Bielska BWA Gallery and a poetry gala at the Victoria Kubisz Municipal Cultural Center.

Jaworzno will host the festival's final day on September 19. The program includes visits to GEOsfera and the Jaworzno City Museum, followed by art workshops and the Jaworzno Poetry Gala at ATElier Kultury. Organized by the Association of Polish Authors (Bielsko-Biała branch) in cooperation with local cultural associations, the festival integrates poetry with music, theater, and visual arts.
