Beskydy mountains hiking project offers six themed trails

The ‘Po medvědích tlapkách’ project offers a series of six color-coded hiking trails in the Beskydy mountains designed for low-intensity excursions. These paths avoid steep climbs and high peaks while showcasing scenic locations.

One specific route begins at the Čeladná railway station, connecting to the green Zaječí stezka. The path follows the Čeladenka stream and leads to the Smrček restaurant. From there, the orange Liščí stezka passes the Žár peak, providing views of Lysá hora, the Ondřejník massif, and Frýdek-Místek. The route continues toward Ostravice, passing a golf course and the Koryto řeky Ostravice natural monument before returning to the station.
