BestAgent to launch exclusive membership club for estate agents
Property platform BestAgent is launching the BestAgent Club in November, a membership scheme designed to reward estate agents for high service standards and efficient transaction speeds. The club will initially offer 99 founder memberships, with a total membership cap of 1,000 agents.
Membership is not based solely on payment; applicants will be assessed against specific criteria including working practices, service standards, and transaction performance. The company aims to help members achieve transaction completion rates of at least 90% and service fees of 2% or more. Individual memberships are priced at £100 per month, while business memberships start at £250 per month.
Business members may receive benefits such as market intelligence, discounted leads, and coaching. Additionally, a revenue-sharing scheme is proposed where qualifying business members could receive an ‘investment chip’ entitling them to 0.01% of BestAgent’s revenues over ten years. BestAgent estimates these chips could generate up to £100,000 over that period, though returns are not guaranteed.
The BestAgent advisory board includes Daniel Daggers, founder of DDRE Global; Verona Frankish, CEO of Yopa; and Rory Sutherland, vice-chairman of Ogilvy UK.
