BestAgent to launch performance-based membership club
Property market platform BestAgent, founded by Charlie Lamdin, is launching a new membership organization for estate agents in November. Unlike traditional models, entry into the BestAgent Club is based on assessed performance criteria, including working practices, service standards, and transaction outcomes, rather than payment alone. Membership can be withdrawn if standards decline.
The club will initially cap membership at 1,000 agents, with 99 founder memberships available. The initiative aims to shift industry focus from the number of instructions secured to transaction completion rates and reduced moving times. Members will work with Lamdin and an advisory board to develop benchmarks, such as targeting completion rates of 90% or higher.
Individual membership is priced at £100 per month, while business membership starts at £250 monthly. Benefits include coaching, training, market intelligence, and discounted leads for business members. Qualifying business members who meet performance benchmarks may receive investment chips in BestAgent, representing 0.01% of the company’s revenues over a 10-year period.
