Beta Enerji IPO draws 14‑fold demand in Turkey
Beta Enerji and Technology A.Ş. completed a public offering of 60.75 million TRY nominal shares priced at 40 TRY each, raising a total of about 2.43 billion TRY. The issue attracted strong investor interest, with overall demand estimated at roughly 14 times the allotted amount and individual investors submitting about 2.46 times the allocation. Based on the allocation formula, each domestic retail investor received approximately 27‑28 lots of shares.
The company’s free‑float rate stands at 15 percent and the shares are scheduled to begin trading on Borsa İstanbul’s Yıldız Market on 1 July. In a statement, Board Member and Executive Chairman Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu said the robust demand reflects confidence in the firm’s growth vision and its contribution to Turkey’s energy infrastructure, and affirmed the company’s commitment to using the proceeds to expand production capacity, focus on high‑value products, and strengthen its export presence.
