Beta Publisher launches student writing contest in Île-de-France

Beta Publisher has announced a short story competition titled ‘Tous égaux’ (All Equal) for middle and high school students in the Île-de-France region. Scheduled for the 2026 academic year, the contest invites young writers to explore the theme of gender equality through fiction.

Participants are encouraged to use various literary genres, including realistic fiction, historical narratives, science fiction, dystopia, or fantasy. The competition is free to enter from October 5 to December 18, 2026. Selected works will be published in a collective collection. To ensure originality, the use of artificial intelligence and plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Entries must be written in French and not exceed 15,000 characters, including spaces.
