Hornbach and Red Cat report significant revenue growth
Major home improvement and technology firms have reported varied financial results. Hornbach DIY stores saw a 5.9 percent increase in net turnover, reaching EUR 3.6 billion for the first six months of its financial year. This growth was driven by seasonal products such as air conditioning and watering equipment, with online sales rising by 8.6 percent.
Red Cat Holdings reported a significant revenue surge in its second quarter of 2026, reaching USD 20.2 million, a 520 percent increase compared to the previous year. Despite this growth, the company reported an adjusted loss per share of USD 0.26. Management has maintained its full-year revenue guidance of USD 150 million to USD 180 million, anticipating much of the annual revenue will be generated in the second half of the year.
In the broader home improvement sector, US-based retailers Lowe's and The Home Depot also reported growth in their second quarters.
