BETA Technologies Secures Up to $1 Billion in Non‑Dilutive Financing from U.S. EXIM Bank
BETA Technologies and the Export‑Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) announced an intent to expand their financing relationship, offering BETA up to USD 1 billion in net, non‑dilutive financing. The new funding builds on an existing USD 170 million loan that helped construct BETA’s production facility in South Burlington, Vermont.
"Following the roughly USD 1.2 billion raised in BETA’s 2025 IPO, the proposed capital from EXIM would give BETA close to an additional USD 1 billion in growth funding without diluting existing shareholders," the press release said. "Non‑dilutive financing means BETA can fund expansion without giving up more ownership stake." The financing is intended to double capacity across BETA’s manufacturing sites, bring more strategic aerospace processes in‑house, and scale its electric‑propulsion business for aircraft manufacturers and operators in the United States and abroad. BETA added that the investment would support "hundreds of technical, high‑quality U.S. aerospace and advanced‑manufacturing jobs," reinforcing U.S. advanced‑air‑mobility goals and the global competitiveness of American aerospace technology.
