Betard Sparta Wrocław defeats Włókniarz Częstochowa in rain-shortened match

Betard Sparta Wrocław defeated Krono-Plast Włókniarz Częstochowa 27:21 in a PGE Ekstraliga match held in Wrocław. Due to heavy rainfall and unfavorable weather conditions, the match was concluded prematurely after only eight heats.

Despite the rain, the competition was closely contested. Włókniarz Częstochowa challenged the league leaders early on, with the score tied at 3:3 after the first heat. Sparta managed to build a lead through a strong junior pair, Marcel Kowolik and Mikkel Andersen, reaching a six-point advantage at one stage.
