Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs to reunite on ‘Shifting Gears’

Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, former co-stars from the CBS sitcom ‘2 Broke Girls’, are set to reunite for a guest appearance in the third season of the ABC comedy ‘Shifting Gears’.

Behrs will portray Dr. Johnson, an emergency room doctor who treats Dennings’ character, Riley, following a back injury. The casting also reunites Behrs with showrunner Michelle Nader, who previously served as a co-showrunner and executive producer on ‘2 Broke Girls’.

‘Shifting Gears’ stars Tim Allen as Matt, a widowed classic car restoration shop owner, and Dennings as his daughter, Riley. The series has previously featured reunions for Allen with former co-stars from ‘Home Improvement’ and ‘Last Man Standing’. Season 3 of the sitcom is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
