Beth Zalcman returns to Rio with two successful plays
Actress Beth Zalcman is returning to the stages of Rio de Janeiro with two successful monologue plays at the Teatro Carlos Gomes. The performances are scheduled for September 3 to 6.
On September 3 and 4, she will present “Helena Blavatsky, A Voz do Silêncio,” a production based on a text by philosopher Lúcia Helena Galvão. The play explores the life of the 19th-century Russian founder of the Theosophical Society, focusing on her pursuit of philosophical and spiritual knowledge. On September 5 and 6, the program continues with the play “Ânima.” Both productions are directed by Luiz Antonio Rocha and aim to reflect on spirituality and the mysteries of human existence.
