Bethany Docwra sentenced to three years after dropping knives with 'Kill police' threat at Hull station

Bethany Docwra, a 32‑year‑old from Bransholme, Hull, was convicted at Hull Crown Court of possessing a razor blade and multiple knife‑related offences. She entered a police‑station courtyard at Barton, Hull, and dropped a pillow‑case containing two knives, each bearing threatening messages – one reading “Kill police” and the other “Kill you”. The incident prompted a “credible concern for the safety of officers” and an immediate security review of the station.

The court heard that Docwra has a record of 54 prior offences, including prior knife possession and a breach of suspended sentences. She was found to have previously stolen figurines from a Hull shop and to have previously hurled a brick at a bus window. The judge activated two suspended sentences, and Docwra was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment, with the court noting her recent progress while in custody.
