Bethany Home to host charity carnival in Hualien

Bethany Home in Hualien will host the ‘2026 I Love Hualien, Hualien Jiayou’ charity carnival on October 17, starting at 9:00 AM. The event aims to gather local support and raise funds for the care, rehabilitation training, and life support services of individuals with disabilities.

The carnival will feature nearly 70 stalls, including local food, handmade markets, and free hair-cutting services. For the first time, the event will include a ‘Soul Shack’ hosted by a US youth mission group to provide spiritual encouragement to visitors.

Director Dai Meng-zhen and Chairperson Wu Min-wen noted that the carnival serves as a vital bridge between the institution and the local community. Various local businesses, kindergartens, and community groups have donated stalls or funds to support the cause. Attendees can participate in lucky draws and enjoy early-bird discounts by pre-purchasing carnival tickets before October 16.
