Bethenny Frankel describes relationship with ex-husband Jason Hoppy as strained

Bethenny Frankel has described her relationship with ex-husband Jason Hoppy as “strained” and “challenging” during a recent appearance on the “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast. While noting that they both “exist on this earth,” which she considers a positive, she indicated that the past year has been difficult.

The couple, who married in 2010, underwent a protracted legal battle following their 2012 separation, with the divorce not being finalized until 2021. Frankel has previously characterized the decade-long process as traumatic.

Frankel currently holds primary residential custody of their daughter, Bryn. She spoke about her close relationship with her daughter, describing it as a bond that fluctuates between a traditional mother-daughter dynamic and a friendship.
