Bethesda reduces boss health in Fallout 76 Infestation events

Bethesda announced a patch for Fallout 76 that lowers the health of bosses in the Infestation (Plagas) events after player complaints that fights had become overly long and resource‑draining. The update also increases ammo drops, improves the chance of legendary loot, and replaces the green map circle with a more immersive visual indicator. Additional changes, such as mandatory elimination of minor enemies before boss summons and new options to hide event notifications, are slated for an autumn update.

The adjustments aim to balance challenge for both new and veteran players, addressing concerns that the previous difficulty level hindered enjoyment without offering commensurate rewards.
