At the Paraty International Literary Festival (Flip 2026), Rádio MEC will host a special broadcast of the program ‘Conversa com o Autor’. The session features an interview with acclaimed writer Bethânia Pires Amaro.

Amaro, a recipient of the Jabuti, APCA, and Sesc de Literatura awards, will discuss her literary career and her new novel, ‘Ressalga’. The book follows three generations of women in Bahia, exploring themes of resistance, family heritage, and survival.
