Beti Jai fronton to host Basque pelota exhibition in Madrid

The Beti Jai fronton in Madrid will host a Basque pelota exhibition on October 3 and 4. Organized by the Madrid City Council in collaboration with the Madrid Pelota Federation, the event features eight matches of hand pelota and frontenis.

Players participating in the event are primarily from the Community of Madrid. The matches will take place in both 30-meter and 36-meter fronton modalities. Sessions are scheduled for 10:30, 12:00, 17:00, and 18:30. Admission is free, with reservations available through the official heritage website.

The Beti Jai, a designated Asset of Cultural Interest, aims to revive the historical sporting traditions associated with the venue, which played a central role in social life in Madrid during the late 19th century.
