Betim Fazliji to transfer from FC St. Gallen to FC Zürich

Betim Fazliji is set to transfer from FC St. Gallen to FC Zürich. The two Swiss Super League clubs have reportedly reached an agreement regarding the 27-year-old midfielder.

Fazliji, a Kosovar international, has struggled for consistent playing time at FC St. Gallen this season, totaling approximately 120 minutes of play. His recent years have been marked by significant injury challenges, including two anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears.

The transfer is expected to be finalized following a medical examination scheduled for Monday. While Fazliji was under contract with FC St. Gallen until summer 2027, the move offers him the opportunity to secure a regular starting position in Zürich. FC Zürich aims to add experienced Super League presence and mental strength to their midfield through this acquisition.
