Betim hosts “Caixola Navegante” cultural project with free activities
The “Caixola Navegante” project, organized by Grupo Teatro a Bordo, will hold free activities in Betim on September 17 and 18 at the CEU das Artes. The initiative uses a container-stage to bring artistic performances to various regions of the country.
The program in Betim focuses on the theme of water, aiming to promote reflection on the preservation of oceans, rivers, and aquatic ecosystems. The schedule includes circus and music performances, workshops with recyclable materials, marine life exhibitions, and short film screenings.
On September 17, activities are reserved for students, featuring puppet-making workshops and the show “A Maleta Transformadora.” On September 18, the event opens to the general public with parades, local artist presentations, and the play “A Viagem do Capitão Chuá Chuá,” which includes accessibility via Libras.
