Betim reorganizes nighttime mental health services for youth
The Betim Municipal Health Secretariat has announced a reorganization of nighttime services at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Reference Center (Cersami). This change aims to establish more defined care flows within the municipal health network.
For children and adolescents already undergoing treatment with a specific therapeutic project that requires overnight stays, services including hospitality, rest, protection, and observation will continue under multidisciplinary and nursing supervision. However, for new nighttime demands requiring immediate medical intervention, caregivers will be directed to other SUS Betim facilities, such as Cersam Betim Central, Cersam Teresópolis, or local Urgent Care Units (UPAs).
During daytime hours, Cersami will maintain its standard operations, providing specialized medical assistance in psychiatry and pediatrics.
