Beto Carrero World CEO donates R$ 500,000 to Flávio Bolsonaro

Alexandre Von Janke Murad, CEO of Beto Carrero World, has donated R$ 500,000 to the presidential campaign of Flávio Bolsonaro. This contribution, registered with the Electoral Court, marks Murad's largest individual donation this year.

In total, Murad has contributed R$ 1.05 million to various candidates and the Liberal Party (PL) during the 2026 election cycle. Previous donations include R$ 350,000 to the PL state directory in Santa Catarina and R$ 200,000 split between two legislative candidates in the same state.

Murad has a history of association with the Bolsonaro family. Former President Jair Bolsonaro has visited the theme park on several occasions. In 2022, the company faced scrutiny for a promotion involving visitors wearing red during the second round of presidential elections, an incident the company later addressed as a ‘misunderstanding’.
