Betonmast hosts HSE focus week following injury-free period

Betonmast, a construction company, is hosting its annual Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) focus week from August 24 to 28. The initiative follows a period of significant safety success, with the company reporting no absence-related injuries since January 2024.

For the first time, the program will include students from Fagskolen Oslo. The decision to involve students aims to address the fact that young workers are overrepresented in construction accident statistics. By engaging future professionals and leaders early, the company seeks to instill a deep understanding of risk and safety barriers.

The focus week will cover five key areas: quartz dust, emergency preparedness, working at heights, personal protective equipment, and site tidiness. The event is held at Construction City in Ulven.
