BetterHome Group to acquire Mortgage Support Services

BetterHome Group has agreed to acquire Mortgage Support Services (MSS), a technology-led financial services provider in the UK property market. MSS is the parent group of Stonebridge Mortgage Solutions and operates various mortgage, protection, and technology businesses.

The acquisition is intended to support the next phase of growth for MSS and Stonebridge, building upon their existing teams and industry relationships. Following the deal, Stonebridge and HLPartnership will continue to operate as separate mortgage and protection networks, maintaining their own brands, propositions, and cultures.

The transaction remains subject to change in control approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). BetterHome Group CEO Rudi Botha stated that the acquisition represents a long-term commitment to the UK mortgage intermediary market and aims to create an environment where member firms can grow their businesses.
