Bettiah police detain three after two-year-old girl disappears on CCTV

A two-year-old girl has gone missing in the Majhaulia police station area of West Champaran, Bettiah. The child was playing outside her home when she disappeared, prompting an immediate search by family and neighbors.

CCTV footage captured a local woman, identified by the family as Sabina, also known as Sumi Khatun, taking the child away. Following the footage, police detained Sabina along with her mother and brother for questioning.

The child's grandmother reported that while she was briefly away from the child, Sabina approached and claimed the child's mother was calling her. Sabina later returned alone, claiming she had left the child at a shop after buying her snacks, but the child could not be located.
