Betty la fea returns for third season on Prime Video

The iconic Latin American series ‘Betty la fea’ is returning for a third season titled ‘Betty la fea: más fea que nunca’. Scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on August 28, 2026, the new installment follows the 2024 release of ‘Betty la fea: la historia continúa’.

Set in Bogotá, the new season features the return of several original cast members, including Ana María Orozco as Beatriz Aurora Pinzón, Jorge Enrique Abello, Natalia Ramírez, and Patrick Delmas as Michel Doinel (known as ‘El Francés’). The plot will involve the reunion of ‘El Cuartel de las Feas’ and explores a new phase in Betty’s life as she seeks independence.

Cast members have described the opportunity to return to the franchise 25 years after its original debut as a ‘miracle’. The original production, produced by RCN Estudios, holds a Guinness World Record as the most adapted telenovela in history.
