Betty Monroe discusses career costs and past industry conflicts

Mexican actress and presenter Betty Monroe has shared details regarding her career and the personal costs of maintaining her public image during her peak in the 2000s. In a recent interview with content creator Suriel Sánchez, Monroe revealed that she previously spent approximately 30,000 pesos biweekly on aesthetic treatments, including massages and facial care, to meet the visual demands of television and photo shoots.

Monroe also addressed past professional tensions, specifically regarding her time filming the telenovela ‘Sueño de amor’ with actor Cristián de la Fuente. While she previously denied conflicts, she now claims that De la Fuente mocked her professional background and that she faced significant envy and hostility from colleagues during her transition between networks. She described an environment of professional jealousy that impacted her experience on set.
