Betway Premiership updates: Kruger United and Orlando Pirates

Kruger United secured a vital victory in the Betway Premiership, providing relief for coach Abram Mangoya following a period of scrutiny and disappointing results. The win improves the team's league standing and aims to build momentum for the remainder of the season.

Orlando Pirates, the defending Betway Premiership champions, are preparing for upcoming domestic and continental fixtures. The team is scheduled to play the second leg of their CAF Champions League qualifier against African Stars on October 23, holding a 1-0 aggregate lead. This will be followed by a Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs on October 31. Head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has emphasized leadership within the squad, noting the team's defensive strength, including 11 clean sheets in 15 competitive matches this term.
