BEUN Hospital undergoes infrastructure and service upgrades

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ulusoy, Rector of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN), conducted an inspection of ongoing renovation and healthcare service improvements at BEUN Hospital. Accompanied by Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Burak Bahadır and hospital management, the Rector reviewed physical upgrades including exterior renovations and interior remodeling in the Dermatology and Physical Therapy units.

During the visit, Ulusoy inspected the newly completed Dialysis Center, which operates 24/7 to provide high-quality care. The inspection also covered the Gastroenterology Unit and the General Internal Medicine Endocrinology Service.

A key technological highlight noted was the implementation of a Pneumatic Tube Transport System. This system is designed to enhance the hospital's logistical infrastructure by enabling the rapid, secure, and hygienic transfer of emergency test samples, blood units, and laboratory specimens between departments.
