Beuningen launches initiative to combat illegal waste dumping

The municipality of Beuningen and waste management organization Dar are launching an initiative to combat illegal waste dumping. The campaign focuses on behavioral interventions and increased communication to prevent residents from leaving items like furniture or trash bags next to full containers.

To support this effort, a special sign will be circulated across seven different container locations. Residents are encouraged to use recycling centers for bulky waste or schedule collections through the Dar app or website. The initiative aims to reduce street clutter and prevent pest issues by ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
