Beverage tasting events scheduled in Venlo and Oosterhout

Various tasting events are scheduled in the Netherlands, featuring local beverages and vineyard tours.

In Venlo, the fourth edition of OpTap will take place on Saturday, October 3. The event involves 12 local cafés in the city center, where participants can choose between a 'High-Beer' or 'High-Wine' route. Attendees visit five different locations, receiving tastings of specialty beers or exclusive wines accompanied by snacks and educational explanations.

In Oosterhout, Sint-Catharinadal will host tasting days on September 19 and 20. The event allows visitors to explore the 10.5-hectare vineyard and sample the 2025 harvest, including the white Norbertus blend and the Ricwera rosé. The vineyard, established in 2014 to support the monastery community, offers guided tours and opportunities to purchase new vintages.
