Beverly Crawford releases new gospel single ‘Made a Way’

Gospel singer Beverly Crawford has released a new single titled ‘Made a Way’, a collaboration with singer, songwriter, and producer J’Quailen Carr. Crawford shared details of the project during an appearance on ‘Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell’.

The collaboration was facilitated through Carr’s father after the young artist expressed a desire to have Crawford record her songwriting. Crawford traveled to Atlanta to record the track, where she discovered that Carr had also served as the song's producer. Crawford noted that seeing Carr transition from a child preacher to a professional producer was a significant and ‘blessed’ experience.

Reflecting on her 30-year career, Crawford emphasized the importance of gospel music preserving its hymn-based foundations even as the genre evolves.
