Beyşehir State Hospital patients create handmade gifts for children

Patients and their relatives in the palliative care unit of Beyşehir State Hospital in Konya, Turkey, have organized a solidarity event to support pediatric patients. Participants handcrafted colorful bracelets to be gifted to children receiving inpatient treatment in the hospital's pediatric ward.

The initiative was supported by hospital staff, including data entry personnel Nihal Şahin, palliative care nurse Halil Küçükercan, psychologist Aslıhan Kacar, and occupational therapist Emine Nur Çorum. The goal of the activity was to provide moral support and foster a sense of community between different hospital departments.

Dr. Kutay Güven, the Chief Physician of Beyşehir State Hospital, praised the effort, stating that it demonstrates the human-centered aspect of healthcare services. He expressed gratitude to the staff and patient relatives, noting that he hopes the smiles created by this solidarity will contribute to the children's healing processes.
