BeyGOOD Foundation donates $200,000 for Indiana storm relief

The BeyGOOD Foundation has donated $200,000 to support recovery efforts in Northwest Indiana following a destructive derecho storm that struck the region on August 11. The funds are designated for the City Life Center and Angel by Nature to assist communities most affected by record flooding and infrastructure destruction.

The severe weather system produced hurricane-force winds, tornadoes, and significant rainfall, resulting in at least seven storm-related deaths across Indiana. In Gary, the disaster left many residents without power and basic resources for up to two weeks, causing widespread issues with food spoilage and household stability. The foundation’s contribution aims to provide immediate relief, including food and essential supplies, to individuals and families in the hardest-hit areas.
