Beykoz Municipality hosts Corn Festival and Circumcision Feast

The Beykoz Municipality organized the Beykoz Corn Festival at Küçüksu Çayırı, which was held concurrently with the Traditional Circumcision Feast. The event brought together thousands of residents for a day of cultural and community activities.

As part of the circumcision feast, 127 children and their families visited the Hz. Yuşa Mosque and Tomb to offer prayers for the children's health and future. Following the spiritual visits, Beykoz Deputy Mayor Özlem Vural Gürzel met with the children at the festival grounds and presented them with tablets.

To honor local tradition, 20,000 ears of corn grown in the Beykoz district were cooked in large, historical cauldrons. Deputy Mayor Gürzel participated in the tradition by serving the corn to attendees. The festivities concluded with a concert by the artist Sefo.
