Beykoz shop owner seeks help after eviction by Ağaoğlu

A local business owner in Beykoz Çubuklu, Murat Metin Yıldız, has called for official assistance regarding his displacement from a shop he operated for eight years. The property was declared a risky structure in 2023 by the construction firm Ağaoğlu, leading to a forced eviction.

Yıldız claims that despite initial promises to compensate for his losses, the construction company has ceased communication. He reported that utilities, including natural gas, electricity, and water, were abruptly disconnected during the eviction. He noted that the displacement resulted in dozens of employees losing their jobs.

Furthermore, Yıldız stated that the building has remained an idle ruin for three years without any construction progress. He expressed concern that the abandoned site has become a gathering place for individuals using alcohol and drugs.
