Beyoncé Gains Full Ownership of SirDavis American Whisky

Entertainer Beyoncé Knowles‑Carter has become the sole owner of SirDavis American Whisky after Moët Hennessy, the luxury spirits division of LVMH, sold its stake. Financial terms were not disclosed. SirDavis, launched in 2024, is named for Beyoncé’s great‑grandfather Davis Hogue, a Prohibition‑era moonshiner, and is distilled in Indiana and bottled in Texas.

The acquisition makes SirDavis a woman‑, family‑ and Black‑owned company. The brand has earned industry accolades, including top scores at the 2025 New York International Spirits Competition and the 2025 Spirits Business Awards, and its Honey Bee Cocktail Kit sold out quickly. The deal follows Moët Hennessy’s broader restructuring of its beverage portfolio, while adding a fully independent spirits business to Beyoncé’s expanding portfolio that already includes the hair‑care line Cécred.
