Beyoncé releases B’Day 20th Anniversary Edition
Beyoncé is celebrating her 45th birthday and the 20th anniversary of her second studio album, B’Day, with the release of the B’Day (20th Anniversary Edition). The remastered digital project features 31 tracks, including four previously unreleased songs: “Creole,” “Back Up,” “Lost Yo Mind,” and “Can I Watch You” featuring Pharrell Williams.
The reissue includes significant new collaborations, such as “Cuerpo (Tumbao)” with Maluma, which incorporates a sample from Celia Cruz’s “La Negra Tiene Tumbao,” and “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor),” a tribute that blends Beyoncé’s vocals with those of the late Selena Quintanilla. The project also maintains the inclusion of the Shakira collaboration “Beautiful Liar.”
In addition to the audio updates, the anniversary edition features remastered 4K visuals for original music videos, including “Déjà Vu” featuring JAY-Z. The release coincides with ongoing developments for her beauty brand, Cécred, which recently expanded its collection to include lash and brow products.
