Beyoncé releases deluxe B'Day edition featuring Selena Quintanilla collaboration

Beyoncé has released a deluxe digital edition of her album B'Day, featuring a posthumous collaboration with the late Tex-Mex icon Selena Quintanilla. The track, titled “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor)”, is a mashup that blends the verses of Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” with the melody of Selena’s classic “Como La Flor”.

The collaboration was made possible with the authorization of the Quintanilla family and utilizes archival vocal recordings rather than a new studio session. Both artists share roots in Texas, and Beyoncé has previously expressed her admiration for Selena, noting that the singer's music influenced her during her childhood in Houston.

The expanded 31-track deluxe edition also includes a collaboration with Maluma titled “Cuerpo (Tumbao)”, which samples Celia Cruz’s “La negra tiene tumbao”. Other additions to the remastered project include previously unreleased tracks and 4K restorations of music videos from the B'Day era.
