Beyoncé’s ‘Crazy in Love’ surpasses 1 billion YouTube views

The official music video for ‘Crazy in Love’, the 2003 collaboration between Beyoncé and Jay-Z, has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. This achievement marks Beyoncé’s third music video to enter the ‘billion views club’ on the platform, following ‘Halo’ and ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)’.

Released as the lead single from her debut solo album, ‘Dangerously in Love’, the track was directed by Jake Nava and featured iconic choreography. The song was a major commercial success, spending eight consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It also earned two Grammy Awards and won best choreography at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. In December 2024, the track received an eight-times-platinum certification from the RIAA.
