Beyond Exploration Expo to feature ‘Casa dell’Astronauta’ in Rimini

The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will present ‘Casa dell’Astronauta’ at the inaugural Beyond Exploration Expo (BEX), scheduled for September 23–25 at the Rimini Expo Centre. This immersive exhibit explores the future of human life in space, focusing on the conditions required for working, nutrition, and health in extreme environments such as orbital stations or the Moon.

The project features contributions from various companies, including Technogym, NTT DATA Italia, Thales Alenia Space, and Spacewear, alongside academic and research support from ENEA and the Università Politecnica della Marche. The initiative is supported by Axiom Space and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).

The exhibit highlights the growing importance of the aerospace sector. According to data from CTNA-Confindustria, the Italian aerospace industry reached a turnover of 21.4 billion euros in 2024, with the space segment seeing a 63% increase compared to 2021.
