Beyond Meat posts Q2 2026 profit as sales dip, cites China exit costs
Beyond Meat, Inc. reported second‑quarter 2026 results ending June 27. Net revenues fell 8.2% year‑over‑year to $68.8 million, while gross profit dropped to $5.9 million, a gross margin of 8.5%. The company recorded a loss from operations of $30.8 million, reflecting $1.6 million of expenses tied to the cessation of activities in China.
Despite the revenue decline, Beyond Meat posted net income of $16.4 million, reversing a $31.8 million loss in the prior year. The profit was driven largely by a $57.7 million non‑cash gain from the extinguishment of a portion of its 2030 convertible notes. Adjusted EBITDA remained a loss of $27.7 million. President and CEO Ethan Brown said the results demonstrate “directional progress.”
