Beyond The Evil psychological horror game to launch on consoles in 2026

QUByte Interactive, in partnership with Brazilian studio BlackHawk Games, has announced that the deductive psychological horror title ‘Beyond The Evil’ will launch on modern consoles on October 29, 2026. The release will include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, following its existing availability on PC via Steam.

Set in 2019, the game follows private investigator Gary Nephew as he investigates a secluded Pennsylvania estate following a panicked emergency call. Players must navigate a crime scene involving secret laboratory research and a lethal contagion. The gameplay focuses on pure deduction, forensic investigation, and environmental problem-solving rather than combat.

Key mechanics include examining 3D crime scenes, collecting clues, and interacting with hundreds of objects to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of the Juniper family. The narrative features a moral crossroads that leads to two distinct outcomes: a ‘Good Ending’ and a ‘Sad Ending’.
