BFSI Summit 2026 series emphasizes AI, trust and resilience in finance

The 38th edition of the BFSI IT Summit in Singapore, held on 13 August 2026, gathered more than 150 senior technology and innovation leaders from banking, financial services, insurance and fintech. Organized by Exito Media Concepts in partnership with ISACA Singapore Chapter and the Singapore FinTech Association, the summit focused on "Reimagining BFSI: AI, Trust & Transformation for Singapore’s Digital Future," highlighting AI, cloud computing, digital identity, open finance and the role of the Monetary Authority of Singapore in supporting responsible AI adoption and digital resilience.

In South Africa, the BFSI Summit 2026 convened executives from the country’s banking, insurance, fintech and digital ecosystems. Speakers, including futurist Pieter Geldenhuys, stressed that the future of the sector depends not only on AI but also on governance, trusted data, operational resilience and workforce readiness. Panels examined responsible AI adoption, regulatory oversight and the need for strong data governance, urging institutions to balance rapid innovation with compliance and customer trust.
