BG 74 Göttingen defeats BBC Osnabrück in basketball home debut

BG 74 Veilchen Ladies Göttingen secured a 68:55 victory against BBC Osnabrück in their home debut in the second basketball Bundesliga. The win was driven by strong defensive performances and effective ball movement.

Alice Bremer led Göttingen with 17 points, while Ana Teresa Faustino contributed significantly through both scoring and defensive pressure, including tight man-to-man marking of Osnabrück's playmaker. The victory also marked a successful home debut for Göttingen's new Italian head coach, Francesca Dotto.

BBC Osnabrück struggled with shooting percentages and turnovers, failing to maintain momentum against Göttingen's pressure. Despite a competitive second quarter, Osnabrück could not overcome the deficit, with Tonia Dölle-Klawitter leading their scoring efforts with 12 points.
