BGaming releases Johnny vs Chicken crossover slot

BGaming has released a new Wild West-themed online slot titled ‘Johnny vs Chicken’, which utilizes a crossover approach by bringing together two existing characters from the developer’s own catalog. The game features Johnny Cash, a cactus outlaw, and the lead character from ‘Chicken Rush’ in a head-to-head rivalry.

The game is built on a 5x5 grid with 15 fixed paylines and features a ‘Duel’ mechanic. When specific symbols land, an animated showdown occurs where the winner can trigger multipliers of up to 500x and transform into an Expanding Wild. This strategy reflects BGaming’s move toward treating its intellectual property as a connected universe, similar to entertainment franchises, by reusing proven mechanics and recognizable characters.

Technical specifications for the title include a 97% theoretical RTP, medium-high volatility, and a maximum win potential of 5,000x the stake. The game also includes retriggerable Free Spins and a layered Buy Bonus menu.
