BGK leads Team Poland push to support Polish firms abroad

Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) hosted a meeting in Warsaw called “Porozmawiajmy o ekspansji” with more than 120 entrepreneurs and leaders of Polish development institutions, including the Polish Development Fund (PFR), the Polish Agency for Investment and Trade (PAIH), the Export Credit Insurance Agency (KUKE), the Development Agency of Industry (ARP) and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP). BGK President Mirosław Czekaj presented the event as the launch of a series of regional forums aimed at creating an integrated system of export and foreign‑investment support for Polish companies.

The Team Poland platform, now operating on six continents, has already facilitated transactions for Polish firms in 90 markets, providing financing worth nearly PLN 25 billion. Its toolkit combines capital‑market instruments from PFR, export‑finance products from BGK, guarantees and insurance from KUKE, plus advisory and promotional services. According to PFR President Piotr Matczuk, the initiative targets two pillars of Poland’s development model: economic innovation and the international position of Polish capital.
