BH unveils iRS1 Carbon electric road bike

Spanish bicycle manufacturer BH has introduced the updated iRS1 Carbon, a new electric road bike platform designed to balance power, comfort, and a natural riding experience. The bike features an aerodynamically optimized carbon frame with updated geometry intended for long-distance riding.

The iRS1 utilizes the SEG BLM mid-motor, developed by SEG Automotive. This motor weighs 2.1 kg and delivers 80 Nm of torque with a maximum peak power of 700 W. Control features include satellite buttons on the handlebars to adjust support levels, while the display is integrated into the top tube.

For range, the bike comes with an integrated 630 Wh battery. An optional XPro range extender (180 Wh) can be added, potentially allowing for a total riding distance of up to 190 kilometers. The top-tier 1.6 model is priced at €6,999 and includes a Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset, FSA Carbon crankset, and Vision TC45 carbon wheels.
