Bhadohi man arrested for filming students through library washroom wall

Police in the Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh have arrested a 20-year-old man, Ravi Shankar Gupta, for allegedly filming obscene videos of female students through a hole in a library washroom wall.

The incident occurred at a private digital library operated by Bharathari Bind near the Lala Nagar toll plaza in the Gopiganj area. Students discovered a small hole in the washroom wall and, upon investigation, realized it connected to an adjacent room belonging to the landlord.

After confronting the landlord's son and inspecting his mobile phone, students reportedly found numerous objectionable photos and videos of female students. The library operator filed a complaint, leading to the arrest of Gupta. He has been charged under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the IT Act. Authorities have seized the mobile phone for forensic examination.
